|Recommended: YesOverall it's not bad, but has some issues worth addressing — It's alright. If you get a townhome with a garage, don't store a vehicle in the garage, as other people can park in front of it. Also, 4 person, 2.5 bath townhomes don't have a single light fixture in the living room, which makes absolutely no sense at all, so bring some lamps. On a positive note, the staff have always been wonderful and accommodating, and maintenance requests are always taken seriously and resolved efficiently. My overall experience with Campus View has been positive.
|Recommended: YesAmazing — It's a nice little community away from campus. It feels very homey and comforting here
|Recommended: YesIt is very nice. We are very frustrated with the maintenance staff. — It is very nice, it feels like you're living in a house. The only thing I would complain about is the fact that my roommate's light fixture has been broken since we moved in. It filled up with water from a big rainstorm and fell from the ceiling. It has been leaking ever since. We have lived here for well over a month and a half.
|Recommended: YesIt was great for a first time college apartment. — It was great Not too quiet and not too loud. Very homey.
|Recommended: YesBest place to live — price is well worth for what you get. everything is well kept. feels like home
|Recommended: YesI like living here. — Its definitely a good community and is better than some of the other complexes off campus.
|Recommended: YesThe office, handy man and crew are great — The office, handy man and crew are great
|Recommended: YesPretty Good — I like it a lot, but lots of noisy construction and I can hear my neighbor talking in the room against my wall, and I can also hear my roommates easily as well. A lot of cold seeps in through the windows and doors on the first level.
response from property -Erica,
It is nice to hear you enjoy Campus View. I would like to try and help solve some of the problems you are having however. In regards to the drafts, I would recommend either sealing your windows with a store bought sealing package or contact maintenance to see if any of the seals are faulty and need to be replaced. With the noise complaints, if it gets excessive, please feel free to contact Absolute Security. Otherwise I would recommend placing a door seal underneath your bedroom door to try and block out some of the sound. I hope some of these recommendations help but feel free to contact the office if any of these persist.
Thank you again for taking the time to review Campus View.
|Recommended: YesVery homey, but furnished is a bad idea. — I would say that it is run by very welcoming and the homes are very nice, but things tend to break a lot. If you want to get a furnished apartment, do not. You would be better off bringing you're own. Our entire dining set is unscrewing and falling apart, along with other things, and we'll likely have to pay for it.
|Recommended: YesPretty Great — Its great living here, but make sure to have something for around the patio door in the winter....there is a draft
|Recommended: YesGreat price for what you get — One of the best places in regards to balance of good price and well kept units. Other places with about same pricing or cheaper is often run down dirty with bad staff. Places that are a little more expensive are mostly more spacious. Overall my only complaint is that nothing is very big. All rooms are small, small beds for furnished units , and small showers so space is limited. I think all units also have shared bathrooms. The furniture that they give is pretty good and there is also a washer and dryer. There were only a couple very small things that were broken such as oven fan and overhead light, bar on door shelf, and faucet leaked. If you don't need a lot of space and are looking for a cheap, clean place this the best option around.
|Recommended: YesLove it! — Campus View is a wonderful place to live. It is affordable, clean, and an overall friendly place to live.
We sure appreciate our residents! Thanks so much for the great review!
